Discover the Vision Behind Innovate Learning Centre
Innovate Learning Centre has delivered professional programmes and back-to-work programmes for the Department of Work and Pensions, National Rail and have been delivery partners with large colleges and universities. We were also approved providers for the Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund, managing millions of pounds worth of funding in delivering approved Ofqual registered NVQs and basic skills training.
Due to the AEB funding being devolved to the city regions, unfortunately, our sub-contracting agreements with our partners were not renewed. Subsequently, we decided to temporarily pivot away from the back to work programmes and concentrate on delivering Health & Social Care programmes to care providers in the Birmingham and Black Country areas. Starting in 2018, we have been successfully delivering Health & Social Care programmes at Level 2, 3 and 5 to several care providers utilising the workforce development fund. We have delivered and completed a sizeable number of qualifications in Health & Social Care and have now built a large network of providers we work with.
Also, in the spring of this year we started commercially delivering Teacher Training, Assistant Teacher, Assessor, and IQA qualifications. These are self-funded by the learners and are taught virtually through Zoom Education or via a self-taught, distant learning method depending on the learner’s choice. Most of our learners are either already in employment and are looking to upskill and gain a better position or are partaking in our programmes based upon an already pre-determined job offer.
