The Skills Bootcamp in Adult Care – Level 3 Diploma provides care providers with a powerful way to upskill their teams, build internal talent and enhance service quality. Delivered over 12–16 weeks, this accelerated programme equips staff with the full Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care — developing confident, capable senior care professionals who can take on more responsibility immediately.

 

Skills Bootcamps are free for eligible Londoners aged 19+, with co-funding options available for employers enrolling existing staff. It is a highly accessible route for organisations wanting to strengthen their workforce without disrupting services.

Eligibility Criteria

To join the Bootcamp, learners must:

  • Be aged 19 or over

  • Live in London

  • Have the right to work in the UK

  • Not be in full-time education

  • Be employed within the adult care sector

Employer Funding

Skills Bootcamps are funded for many eligible learners. When upskilling existing staff, employers may need to make a small contribution depending on organisational size and learner eligibility.

About the Bootcamp

Qualification: Full Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care
Sector: Health & Social Care
Duration: 12–16 weeks
Delivery: Blended learning – Online plus selected in-person sessions
In-Person Locations: Barking & Ilford
Weekly Study Commitment: Approximately 6 hours per week

This programme is delivered by experienced health and social care trainers and mapped directly to current sector standards. Learners gain a complete, modern Level 3 qualification grounded in real workplace practice.
